Introduction - What you need to learn

You might as well get the end of the book right away: A driving licence in itself cannot make you a good driver. A driving licence is initially proof that you've passed your driving test and that you've been taught and understand the basic rules. As you become more experienced, you will become better at handling unexpected situations and understanding traffic in general. As a driver, you have a great responsibility at all times because the vast majority of accidents are caused by human error. It is approximately with these words that this theory book ends. But first, there's a lot you need to learn.

Just for the record

To get a motorcycle licence, you must be at least 18 years old.
It is also a requirement that your driving instructor is authorised to teach category A and that he or she has taught you according to the Danish Road Safety Agency's syllabus,
for category A.

There are three sizes of motorbike.
Small(A1), Medium(A2) and Large(A).

In the Preface you will find useful information

A small motorbike (A1):

Tricycle with an engine power not exceeding 15 kW (20 PS) or three-wheeled car with an engine power not exceeding 15 kW.

A medium motorbike(A2):

A large motorbike(A):
Two-wheeled motorbike with or without sidecar. Three-wheeled motorbike with an engine power of more than 15 kW or three-wheeled car with an engine power of more than 15 kW.

A motorcycle licence also entitles you to drive a trailer.

If you are 18 years old, you can get a small motorcycle licence. If you are at least 20 years old, you can get a medium licence. If you have 2 years of driving experience on a small motorcycle, you can obtain a medium licence by passing a practical test. If you're 24 or older, you can get a large motorcycle licence if you've taken lessons and passed a driving test on a large motorcycle. If you are 22 years old and have two years of category A2 experience, you can obtain a large motorcycle licence by taking a practical test. If you are a mechanic or a trainee mechanic or employed in the Danish Defence, special rules apply.

You can play the introduction and in the chapters, the entire chapter as an audiobook
